What data we collect
We collect identification data, employment information, contact details, bank account information (for ticketing and refunds), and interaction data when you interact with us, visit our website, communicate with our members, or attend our events.
Legal basis
Processing occurs under three grounds:
- Legal compliance obligations
- Contract performance (e.g., delivering the ticket you purchased)
- Explicit consent for activities like newsletters and surveys
Third-party sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your data to third parties for marketing purposes. Data may be shared with service providers (such as our ticketing partner Eventix) and event partners when necessary to deliver the event.
Event media consent
By registering for Winterfest, you provide explicit consent for photographs or videos taken during the event to be used for promotional purposes related to Winterfest and Fabric Belgium.
If you do not wish to appear in event media, please let our team know on the day at the registration desk and we'll do our best to accommodate.
Data retention
Contact forms are retained for 12 months after the last interaction. Log files persist for 12 months after creation. Ticketing data is retained as long as legally required for fiscal and accounting purposes.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, erasure, or restrict processing of your personal data at any time by emailing team@fabricbelgium.be. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit).
